Saltine Snickers Toffee.

This is my variation on this simple, delicious treat!

    • 1/3 bag tiny  Snickers bars, (opened, loosely chopped)
    • a handful or two of whatever chocolate chips you have handy

  • Preheat oven to 425°; line crackers neatly on a Parchment Paper lined cookie sheet, (or sprayed foil).
  • Melt/Boil Butter & Brown Sugar, stirring constantly, until caramel color, (approx. 3 mins).
  • Pour over crackers, Bake 6 minutes.
  • Remove from oven, top with Chocolate Treat- spread when melted, if possible.
  • Freeze 20 minutes.
  • Remove from freezer, break into pieces.
  • Enjoy!

An easy treat using ingredients you can keep in the cupboard for when you need it. People will be happy to take this home in plastic baggies!

  • 1 package of Chocolate Chips, (10 oz./2 cups) (Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1- 14oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 10 oz. of Mini Marshmallows (not flavored, not shaped, not cut-up, seriously)
  • 3/4 of a jar of lightly salted dry roasted peanuts (12 oz./2 cups)
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
  2. In a separate big bowl, mix marshmallows and peanuts.
  3. When chocolate mixture is melted and smooth, combine with the peanuts and marshmallows until they are thoroughly covered with the chocolate mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pan into a 9×13 inch pan, lined with wax/parchment paper.
  5. Put in the refrigerator for a couple hours, pull out and cut into squares!
